Since broadhead lethality is my business, I picked up a USB microscope/camera that I can link directly to my laptop to inspect broadhead blade edges at each step of the sharpening/honing/polishing process as well as inspecting new blades straight from the packs from the companies that sell them. Then I purchased a sharpness tester. www.sharpeningsupplies.com/Edge-On-Up-Industrial-Edge-Tester-P1562C2.aspxIm learning how the microscope works and played with a few things like a line on a piece of paper I drew with a No. 2 pencil, the letter B in "liberty" on a penny and a hair from my beard. This thing is pretty cool. Im trying to see at what point in sharpening the point of folly or uselessness is achieved meaning does it pay to lap at .03 microns or is buffing or even 2500 grit good enough. I will look at edges sharpened with a variety of grits (240, 400, 800, 1200, 2500, 5000, 7000, 20,000, 50,000, polishing compound, etc Then looking at some "Known" sharp things. Im such a nerd.

Im impressed with the steel, their blade thickness, blade retention. All around it seems a very solid design that can be brought to a great edge and it seems fairly priced.
