This was a heirloom piece from granny from the farmstead. It’s a sideboard buffet. I spent the last few weekends tearing it down, repairing it, stripping 3 prior coats of paint off it and then refinishing it. Its made of hard maple. This thing was built before plywood was available or used. The drawer bottoms and back are sawn lumber. I finally cut a mirror for the back and got the new hardware installed this weekend while babysitting the smoker and 30 pounds of jerky.. I built a removable silverware drawer. Still need to line it with red felt.
