I made up a few theft deterrent boxes for trail cams I plan to put up on the new lease. I made a wood “mock” camera and used it as the fixture for the parts for welding so the trail cams would be a nice snug fit inside the frame. I used a wire feed welder to construct the boxes. The upper and lower spikes are sharpened and will be pressed or pounded into the tree bark. I welded a chain to one side of the side tabs. The other side has a hole for a padlock. Then I gave them a two tone camo paint job. I made up several of these yesterday. And will make more. Hopefully it will deter the opportunistic thief.
